The library's Thursday evening game nights have been expanded, with a new start time of 5:15 pm and a new end time of 7:45 pm.
The purpose of adult game night is to provide people who are interested in playing mahjongg, canasta, chess or scrabble with an opportunity to meet up with others in the community who are interested in playing the same game.
Game night is intended for people who already know how to play the game they are interested in. The library is unable at this time to provide instruction to people who are new to any particular game. The library has scrabble boards and chess sets available for use on game night; the library owns one mahjongg set but players must provide their own mahjongg cards and players are encouraged to bring their own mahjongg sets. Canasta players need to provide their own decks of playing cards.
