The Springfield Free Public Library will host a GirlsWhoSTEAM Slime Workshop on Monday, August 16th from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM. Program is open to kids and tweens between the ages of 9-13. During this DIY workshop, kids will learn about and make magnetic, glow in the dark, and galaxy slime.
GirlsWhoSTEAM is an up and coming 501(c) 3 female-led, student-run non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology, science and engineering, arts and mathematics. Each workshop teaches kids STEM concepts, problem solving, leadership, and teamwork.
